Edit a storage

From a storage code's detail page, the gross weight and comments are edited directly, without going back through the creation form. The code and net weight are not editable: the net weight is automatically recalculated from the gross weight and the storage type's tare.

Edit a storage​

Access a storage's detail page​

  • On the mobile app: scan the storage code, or open it from the Traceability list.
  • On the website: from Documents → Storage code, click the code to edit.

Edit a field​

On each editable field, a pencil icon opens a mini-form with Save / Cancel buttons. The change is saved as soon as it is confirmed.

Edit an association​

A batch associated with the storage (apiary, extraction period, or a fill-up's sources) is edited independently of the gross weight and comments, by selecting the relevant batch in the storage's detail page.

The editable fields depend on the batch's creation method:

  • Manual: apiary, harvest date, honey type.
  • Extraction period: start date, end date, Emptied Chain Start option.
  • Fill-up: list of source codes.

Inherited batch​

An inherited batch comes from a fill-up: it was copied from a source storage to the filled storage, so the latter keeps the same traceability. It cannot be edited directly.

  • On the website: the fields are locked; a link leads to the source storage, where the information can be corrected at the root.
  • On the mobile app: only the source (the parent code) can be replaced from the inherited batch.

Delete an association​

If the batch was inherited by other storages through a fill-up, a warning notifies you that the deletion will apply in cascade to the whole chain of storages filled from this one.
