Edit a storage

From a storage's record — opened by entering its code, or from the storage list — you can correct several elements of an already created container: its gross weight, its comment, and its associated apiaries (add one, edit one, or delete one). Every change is saved locally then queued for synchronization.
Choose the element to edit:
- Gross weight
- Comment
- Add an apiary
- Edit an apiary
- Delete an apiary
Tap the gross weight's pencil icon, enter the new value, then confirm. The net weight is recalculated automatically from the storage type's tare.
Tap the comment's pencil icon, enter your note, then confirm.
To associate a new apiary with the storage, tap + (on the website: Add an association), then enter the apiary, the harvest date and the honey type as when creating a batch.
Tap an associated apiary: its creation form reopens pre-filled, ready to be corrected. The form depends on the batch's original method — the Manual, Extraction period or Fill-up tab (for a batch inherited from a fill-up) of the Create a storage page.
On the mobile app, swipe the associated apiary to the left then tap Delete. On the website, click the trash icon of the relevant row.
How do I correct a traceability error on an already recorded batch?
A data-entry error on a honey batch — a mis-recorded weight, a wrong source apiary — should never stay set in stone once the container has been recorded: traceability only has value if it stays accurate. ApiTracer lets you update the gross weight, comment, or associated apiaries of an existing storage at any time, without having to recreate the batch or lose the history already built up.
