Quick start

This guide walks you through getting started with ApiTracer in a few minutes, once your account has been created.
1. Get your credentials
ApiTracer does not offer open sign-up: your account is created after subscribing to one of the PRO plans on apitracer.fr. You then receive your credentials (email address + password) by email, to use on both the management website and the mobile app.
2. Log in
Use your credentials (email + password) to log in on the website or the mobile app. Your data is synchronized across all platforms.
3. Create your first apiary
- Go to Management → Apiaries.
- Click Add an apiary.
- Give it a name and set its location (address or GPS coordinates).
- Confirm: your apiary appears in the list.
4. Add hives
- In your apiary, click Add a hive.
- Enter the hive's number or name.
A hive needs a queen associated with it for its colony to exist in ApiTracer — without this association, you cannot record an operation, a harvest, or any other action on that hive. If the queen's origin is unknown, simply create a generic stock (for example "unknown queen") and associate it.
5. Record your first operation
- Select a hive.
- Click New operation.
- Choose the operation type (inspection, treatment, feeding…).
- Add your observations and confirm.
On the mobile app, operations entered while offline are saved locally and synchronized automatically as soon as a network connection is available.
